I have travelled the world quite a lot and plan on traveling a lot more once covid is over
So I was thinking about naming kids after place names
Some of the sib-set I have come up with:
-Paris, India, Siena, London & Milan (all girls) and Caspian, Austin, Jordan, Denver (all boys)
-Indiana, Adelaide, Florence & Topanga (all girls) and Orlando & Chicago (both boys)
-Maddison, Charlotte & Brooklyn (all girls)
Which is you favorite set and why?
What would you place set be like?
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite sets are [name_u]Indiana[/name_u], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u] and [name_f]Topanga[/name_f], and [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] & [name_f]Chicago[/name_f]. For the [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] set, I like how they all match stylistically while [name_f]Topanga[/name_f] is a nice surprise. I also really like [name_m]Orlando[/name_m] and the energy of [name_f]Chicago[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Maddison[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], and [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] the best! They don’t feel as matchy and obviously cities as some of the other ones do.
I like [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_u]Austin[/name_u], [name_u]Jordan[/name_u], and [name_u]Denver[/name_u] too. Again, they don’t feel overly matchy.
[name_u]Paris[/name_u], [name_f]India[/name_f], [name_u]London[/name_u], and [name_u]Milan[/name_u] feel way too obviously cities. It doesn’t flow well to me. One of these names sure, but having them all as a sib set feels like too much.
I love the name [name_m]Orlando[/name_m], but paired with [name_f]Chicago[/name_f] it is definitely too city like. Too close.
[name_u]Indiana[/name_u], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_u]Florence[/name_u], and [name_f]Topanga[/name_f] are meh to me. If you took out [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] I would like it.
I’m not a huge fan of place names, but if I made a sibset it might be [name_m]Orlando[/name_m], [name_u]Austin[/name_u], and [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
