I like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Mathilda[/name_f] and [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f], but this one sounds more beautiful to me. Not considering for a future child, just a guilty pleasure.

Is it weird? As a GP, nope! (If you were to consider it for a child I’d say it’s brave but usable.) [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] is a consistent favorite of mine so Mathildis feels like a natural step in the braver direction. I like it.

I have never seen Mathildis before, but I am certainly intrigued by it! It might be a little troublesome irl, given people would probably mishear it as [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] quite often, but not strange at all as a guilty pleasure.
Middle names? Hmm… I suppose it would depend on what you’re looking for. I’d typically be tempted to suggest something short and classic to bring balance to the combo, but your style seems to have a more fantasy-esque quality to it, so you might prefer something more in that vein.
