[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]! It’s my sister’s name, and I also think it has better nickname potentials 
I’ve picked [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], mainly because I don’t like [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] as a nickname
I like both, but [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is in my top 5, whilst I have [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] as a gp, due to popularity. I love the vintage charm, and brightness [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] has, she’s such a happy name, and it’s a huge plus for me that she’s rarely used. I do prefer [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]/[name_f]Tilda[/name_f] over [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] (my choice of is [name_f]Margo[/name_f]), but I think the full name is more important, and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is perfect.
I love both, but I really don’t like the nickname [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], so I voted for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].
I’m another person who likes both names but dislikes [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], so my vote also went to [name_f]Matilda[/name_f].
I much prefer [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]. [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] sounds very harsh to me, and I like [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] much better than [name_f]Tillie[/name_f].

I voted [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] because I find it more versatile. I can picture it better on a wide variety of people, from an artist, yoga instructor artsy type, to a lawyer, doctor, politician type, anywhere in between, chef, teacher, normal person type.
I picture a [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] being more of a free spirit, artist type and can’t as easily picture our future president being named [name_f]Marigold[/name_f]. However, I don’t think it’s a name that would truly hold her back if that is the path she chose. It would just seem a bit out of place… But maybe in a good way?
Bottom line: I think both are excellent and really had to split hairs to chose between them haha.
I absolutely adore both! They’re both on my short list, but I voted for [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] because I love her just a smidgen more, and because [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] isn’t my favourite nickname for [name_f]Marigold[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], as it just make me smile.
I love [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], it’s my #2 name (some days my favorite), so I had to vote for her. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] OTOH, is a very charming name, so I don’t dislike it.
I prefer [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] cause i never really liked [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] (idk why) but i would rather use it as a middle name
