[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name], it’s perfect. [name]Rose[/name] calms [name]Matilda[/name] down. [name]Grace[/name] has almost the same feel, but I absolutely love [name]Rose[/name], the flower, the name, the scent… I like the o-sound with [name]Matilda[/name]. It makes it very lush and lovely.
Yes, it is def my fav combo by far too. I am totally in love with it. The only thing that scared me off it is that it’s exactly [name]Heath[/name] Ledger and [name]Michelle[/name] [name]Williams[/name] daughters name. And not that it’s a bad thing, just didn’t want to seem as though I was copying. But I do think it’s such a beautiful combination!! It softens [name]Matilda[/name] so nicely.
I like [name]Lillian[/name] the most, but I think [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name] sounds the best. But most names do with [name]Rose[/name].
[name]Lillian[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] would be a really cool combo too!
[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jane[/name] packs a punch with spunk! I love it!
I love [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Lillian[/name], they’re both very meaningful to me and I love seeing them used, but I had to vote [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jane[/name]–I just like it best as a combo.
And [name]Tilly[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be an adorable nn!
I like them all, but voted for [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jane[/name].
I’m happy to see [name]Jane[/name] getting so many votes actually. Because even though I like the sound of [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name] best, [name]Jane[/name] is actually my great great grandmother’s name and she was very significant in my family history! That’s the reason I thought of it as an option but just thought [name]Rose[/name] sounded so much prettier. So now will be trying to decide between these two.
[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Grace[/name] gets my vote!
Had to vote for [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is very pretty, but I like the spunkier feel of [name]Jane[/name], and [name]Rose[/name] seems to be getting a little overdone, while [name]Jane[/name] is both classic and underused, [name]IMO[/name].
[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] reads as [name]Tilly[/name] [name]Lilly[/name] to me. Go with rose.
Wow, rollo , I would have never seen [name]Tilly[/name] [name]Lilly[/name] in [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]. Now I can’t not see it.
haa same here…hadn’t noticed!! [name]Tilly[/name] [name]Lilly[/name]…oh my hahah that’s why I love this forum. That would be horrid. Thanks for the warning haha
[name]Both[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jane[/name] are beautiful names. I agree with pp’s that [name]Rose[/name] seems to calm the spunky [name]Matilda[/name] down, while [name]Jane[/name] enhances the spunk/ happiness that I picture with [name]Matilda[/name].
Amazing what name nerds see in names isn’t it?
Have a great day!
rollo
Oh, [name]Jane[/name] for SURE, then. I voted for it before I read that. [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] are filler names to me and rather cliche. [name]Jane[/name] is charming and spunky, yet sweet. [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Jane[/name] all the way.
I like most of them.
My husband says no way to [name]Jane[/name]
but loves [name]Rose[/name]. Hate having to compromise w/ someone haha he’s too opinionated!
[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is my choice and I think it really makes a very pretty combo, so feminine and appealing.
