I really love [name_f]Maude[/name_f]/[name_f]Maud[/name_f]. I still don;t see the appeal of [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. In fact, the name is a bit of an in joke in my friend circle from high school.
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] for me! It was my grandmother’s name. For years and years and years, I really disliked it, but lately it’s been growing on me a lot! Plus, I had a really good friend in high school named [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] is so, so cute.
I prefer [name_f]Maude[/name_f] personally

I definitely prefer [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].
I like them both equally.
Some think [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] sounds a bit harsh, but I still love it.
[name_f]Maude[/name_f] I prefer as [name_f]Maud[/name_f]. [name_f]Maude[/name_f] sounds already grown to me and [name_f]Maud[/name_f] sounds younger.
But both are great choices.

[name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is lovely, and to my mind [name_f]Maud[/name_f] seems too much like a little old lady.
I much prefer [name_f]Ruth[/name_f].
I hate to be a [name_f]Debbie[/name_f] Downer, but [name_f]Maude[/name_f] just makes me think of Mold. It’s not at all pleasant sounding in my opinion.
