I recently came across [name_f]Maven[/name_f] and I am really liking it for a girl! The “v” gives her a little edge, which I love, and I like the meaning of the name as well. I also like [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], which is a little more vintage/old lady…but I feel like it could be cute! Then there’s [name_f]Maren[/name_f], which is different enough for me without being over the top or weird.
Which of these three do you like best: [name_f]Maven[/name_f], [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], or [name_f]Maren[/name_f]? What middle names do you like with each (or your favorite)?
I thought of [name_f]Maven[/name_f] [name_f]Gloria[/name_f] or [name_f]Maven[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], but I’m not married to either of those. I’m excited to see what you come up with!
I came across the name [name_f]Maven[/name_f] today in a class (it’s also the name of a software tool I was using) and I actually thought “This could make a pretty baby girl’s name!”, so I guess I’m all for it! I also really like [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]/[name_f]Maeva[/name_f]! I think they are all really elegant, pretty and a bit spunky!
My favorite of the 3 is probably [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], tho my favorite of all the mentioned before is [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]!
[name_f]Maven[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] or [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_u]Gray[/name_u]/[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] would be my chosen combos using some of the middles in your signature!
I do like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], and [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] is interesting. These all sort of honor my grandmother, [name_f]Reva[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f], who was so beloved by our family…so bonus points! But, I have a hard time thinking of middles for one syllable firsts (i.e. [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] is one of my favorite girls’ names but I’ve never found a combo I love and have had the same problem with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]).
I’m just so torn on [name_f]Maven[/name_f], [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], and [name_f]Maren[/name_f] because I think they could all work and I think I like them equally.
Our front-runner for a girl has long been [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. Does one of these sound particularly better with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] to you? Again, I am torn!

I like [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] the most but also love [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. I have a hard time seeing [name_f]Maven[/name_f] as a name. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] would make an amazing sister set!
