We need a name for our daughter but can’t for the life of us love a single one of the names we have looked at. We had been set on the E initial to go with our family theme but are having second thoughts because of how utterly difficult it’s been. I had thought there were more suitable E names in the world!
What would you name [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_m]Marvin[/name_m] and [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]'s baby sister?
Disclosure: We are now open to names that DON’T begin with E!
I love a lot of the suggestions so far, mainly [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Eileen[/name_f] (I love the sound, not so much the spelling) and [name_f]Eudora[/name_f], but the problem with [name_f]Eudora[/name_f] (and my beloved [name_f]Eugenie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eugenia[/name_f]) is that it has the same first two letters as my daughter’s name.
Eridie is a made up name of my creation, but I think it’s super cute and pretty. I also like [name_f]Eponine[/name_f] from your list!
Others:
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] ( )
[name_f]Evora[/name_f]
[name_f]Eila[/name_f] (like [name_f]Isla[/name_f])
[name_f]Este[/name_f]
[name_f]Emerie[/name_f]
[name_f]Ephratah[/name_f]
[name_f]Ephigenia[/name_f] (I know a girl with this name, goes by [name_f]Effie[/name_f]!)
You’ve gotten a ton of E suggestions that I doubt I’ll be able to top, so since you’re open to non-E names, here are a few. I like long U, long E and L sounds for you if you want a connection to your first daughter’s name.
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f]

[name_f]Lucinda[/name_f]
[name_f]Perla[/name_f]
[name_f]Ursula[/name_f]
