Is the name [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] too bizarre? I am looking to use “max” as a nickname and I’m not a fan of [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m], [name_m]Maxon[/name_m], [name_m]Maximus[/name_m], etc. Also, I like the reference to artist [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] [name_u]Parrish[/name_u], but don’t know if it works as a name.
Thanks!
I know of a little boy named [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] who goes by [name_u]Max[/name_u]. I’m not a fan of the -field part of the name because overall, it just doesn’t feel like a name to me.
I prefer [name_m]Maximus[/name_m] and Macsen.
I don’t think it’s weird at all. I personally prefer [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] but [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] is a legitimate option if you want a [name_u]Max[/name_u] name.
I think it’s kind of pretentious. I would just name him [name_u]Max[/name_u].
I think it works. [name_u]Max[/name_u] is a super cute NN and I think it could absolutely stand on its own as a name if you want
Awesome name! And I love the artwork of [name_m]Maxfield[/name_m] [name_u]Parrish[/name_u]. It would make a great FN or MN.
PS Another [name_u]Max[/name_u] name is [name_m]Maxence[/name_m] i.e. a [name_m]French[/name_m] name pronounced [name_u]Max[/name_u]-on-ss (with a s ending like excellence).
