I like [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]! It sounds very regal to me. It’s a nice way to reach the nn [name_u]Max[/name_u], but is less common than, say, [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u].
Great name! I personally prefer just [name_u]Max[/name_u], but [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] is very cool.
I think [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] is a strong name, while [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u] is soft. If strong is your style, then I think it’s a great choice! I also like [name_u]Max[/name_u] on it’s own (but people, like at doctor’s offices, will frequently confirm that’s the full name, which isn’t a big deal, but something to note!)
[name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] seems a little too over the top to me. I would prefer [name_m]Maxim[/name_m] or [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u]!
A bit too strong for me, but it definitely feels regal
Maximillian is bold and grand
It’s a little heavy, but I can see the appeal!
It isn’t terrible, but in my personal opinion it’s a little over the top. It makes me think “[name_u]Max[/name_u] is a Millionaire” or “there’s a million [name_u]Max[/name_u]’s” I do like just Max though.
Very cool! I do like max as a nn.
I adore [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m]! He’s so button-up and handsome; it makes me sad that I’m not super fond of [name_u]Max[/name_u], because otherwise I’d love to use him up front. He’s seriously the best.
I always think of the dog from Hurra för [name_m]Ludvig[/name_m] Lurifax by [name_u]Jan[/name_u]-[name_m]Olof[/name_m] Ekholm when I hear this name. Doesn’t make [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] unusable, though.
I really love it. It’s grand and regal but mainstream enough not to feel too ostentatious. Plus, [name_u]Max[/name_u] is such a cool, solid, friendly nickname. I do love [name_m]Maxim[/name_m] too.
