What do you think of the name [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] nn [name_u]Mack[/name_u]?
[name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is the other option, but my partner is really pulling for [name_f]Maxine[/name_f]. I almost feel like it’s too harsh? Which would you pick of the two?
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] feels very fresh today! I feel like a [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] might get “lost” in the swarm of Lucy’s and Lily’s while [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] stands out a bit. It reminds me of the Stranger Things character, who goes by [name_u]Max[/name_u].

[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is very unique, personally, I love it and think it flows beautifully!

[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is great! I don’t love [name_u]Mack[/name_u] as nickname (would prefer Max), but not a big deal. I prefer the flow of [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] to [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], though I’d probably choose [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] in isolation.
I do agree with the previous comment that [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] may get swept away with Lucy’s popularity. [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] is a bit more distinctive, though there are certainly plenty of boy Maxs around!

I really like [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]! [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is also great but I slightly prefer [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] in general and the flow of [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I do like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] better than [name_u]Mack[/name_u] though.
I do think [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] is cute, but I understand what you mean about [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] being too harsh. If it’s possible, you might consider a softer middle to balance out the sharpness of [name_f]Maxine[/name_f]. Something Like [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Luella[/name_f], [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] etc.
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is stylish and sleek! [name_u]Mack[/name_u] is a sparky nickname.
While I don’t find [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] too harsh, I still do prefer the gentle, stylish, sweet [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] would be perfect sister names 
They both give me sassy, Old Hollywood vibes. I do prefer [name_u]Max[/name_u] as a nickname but [name_u]Mack[/name_u] works too.

I love [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]! That’s absolutely my favorite.
[name_u]Mack[/name_u] and [name_u]Max[/name_u] for a girl are so charming.
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Maxine[/name_f], though it seems to be edging up in popularity at least on namesites. I feel it’s dated and I agree re harsh, it reminds me of a cleaning product. I can see the retro appeal of it though especially with stranger things and zippy, gender neutral nicknames like [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_u]Maxie[/name_u]. I just can’t imagine a baby [name_f]Maxine[/name_f], it makes me think of perms and lycra.
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] is lovely, and I also like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] - it has a fun, poppy, 50s vintage thing. So I’d pick [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. The only drawback to [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] is the potential for [name_u]Luce[/name_u] or [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] as nicknames, which immediately detract from how distinctive it is.
I think [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] is pretty cool, but I personally prefer [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]. I find [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] more romantic and gentle. 
I love [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f], but I’d punch anyone who tried to nn me [name_u]Mack[/name_u]!

[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is pretty! I like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] as well (doesn’t sound harsh to me), but I think I like [name_f]Maxine[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] more.
