May Fiona

What do you think of the name [name]May[/name] [name]Fiona[/name]?

Thanks!

I think [name]May[/name] [name]Fiona[/name] is okay. It’s not as great as the other name on your list, [name]Maude[/name] [name]Lilac[/name], which is going on my list as one of my favorite combos!

I’m really iffy on [name]May[/name] [name]Fiona[/name]. I keep going to remove her but I can’t seem to bring myself to do it.

[name]Maude[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] is a definite favorite of mine, tied for first along with [name]May[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] and [name]Maude[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. I’m so glad someone else likes her.

I think it’s a bit choppy. [name]May[/name] is short and sweet, and although [name]Fiona[/name] seems like it would work in theory (3 syllables, ends on vowel) it still doesn’t flow too well.

I think if you can find a middle name that’s accented on the second syllable, not the first, the flow will improve dramatically. I.e. [name]May[/name] [name]Cassandra[/name], [name]May[/name] [name]Simone[/name], [name]May[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name], etc.

I agree that there is a touch of choppiness there but I don’t really have a problem with that and a one syllable first name. You have a very valid point about the accented syllable placement in the name. It’s something to take into consideration.

Thanks!
