I think Maybelline goes really well with your daughters names  [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is my second choice.

Maybelline is 100% associated with makeup. Lorelei does not mean “temptress.” The name comes from an old German folktale about a woman similar to a Greek Siren, which is why it has the etymology that it does.

I personally wouldn’t choose Maybelline. It’s such a well known makeup brand, plus so many memes online use the catch phrase “maybe it’s Maybelline” . I’d fear the child being picked on for this, or annoyed at the constant reference
My picks would be [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] to fit in with your other kids names.

I like [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] or [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] the best!

I strongly dislike the idea of using Maybelline. It does not work at all in my opinion. I would assume her mother was obsessed with make-up. If you like [name_f]Mae[/name_f], I’d suggest just using [name_f]Mae[/name_f] by itself, or something else with the [name_f]Mae[/name_f] sound.

I’m afraid Maybelline has been picked up by popular culture, as a previous poster mentioned, in meme form. I think it would be a mistake to use it for a child, but [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] or [name_f]Maybell[/name_f] could work. I remember reading a story in grade school about the myth of [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] and being enchanted by it. There was no temptress/sexual connotation at all in the version that I read.

I voted for [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and Margierite. I think they’ve both got the classiness and heft of your other two names, whereas [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] (to me) makes the other two names a bit fly-away/ less substantial and regal. I guess it depends what vibe you’re going for!

(I would personally not go for Maybelline:
Too well know, the ad jungle would be annoying for the kid and I also think it’s too close to the other names anyway.)

I think [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] nicknamed [name_f]Mae[/name_f] would work much better! Sorry, I can’t separate Maybelline from makeup.

I think [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] would also work nicely.

I love [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]! It’s boring to always stick to ‘goody-goody’ names, so siren names are better. The name comes from a [name_m]German[/name_m] poem about a siren named [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] who lured men to the rocks. Also, this name is very pretty, so why not choose it?

Also, [name_f]Maybelline[/name_f] is related to makeup, [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] is way too long and doesn’t sound nice, [name_f]Vera[/name_f] is too short, I don’t know why but [name_u]Allie[/name_u]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] sound weird, [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is way too old and not so beautiful, and for some reason, [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] don’t sound right.
