Hello! The name Mckenndriannah for a girl… Growing up, I always loved the name [name_f]Mckenna[/name_f] and [name_f]Adriannah[/name_f] but I only heard of this name a couple of days ago. I personally wouldn’t call my daughter this but I think it’s a beautiful name! What’s your opinions on Mckenndriannah?
I have to give this one two thumbs down.
It sounds lovely but I believe a respelling is in order. Too many letters and two double N’s make it look odd.
McKendriana would be simpler, easier to spell, and looks quite appealing.
Sorry, I didn’t care for this name. They sound better as first /middle names: [name_f]Mckenna[/name_f] [name_f]Adriannah[/name_f] or [name_f]Adriannah[/name_f] [name_f]Mckenna[/name_f].
The excessive N’s are absolutely grammatically unnecessary.
Mckendriana would be the simplest way to spell the name.
That said, I think it’s an awful name, especially in the original spelling, no offense.
I dislike both names separately, so this smoosh name is a definite no-go for me.
I dont like Mc- names, or any sort of surname name thats clearly a surname, and the spelling is hideous
It’s a terrible combination of two terrible names and the repeating letters certainly don’t help.
It’s too long and confusing. Why not just make one a name a first name and the other a middle?
While I also love both names individually, I dont like them together. I mean, I’m a big fan of smoosh names like Kaylianna or [name_f]Aubrielle[/name_f]/[name_f]Aubriella[/name_f], but McKendriannah/McKendriana is way too long for me.
If you did hypothetically use McKendriannah - it’s 13 letters long
Then say your middle name of choice happens to be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], that is 9 letters;
Most states have a limit of 30 letters on your birth certificate so if your name was something like [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], then it exceeds their limit.
Plus that, I worked in schools a lot when I first when to college - I was the ECE/classroom assistant who had to write everyone’s names on those little tiny cute character cutouts for their cubbies - McKendriannah would have been a literal nightmare for me, considering names like [name_f]Nevaeh[/name_f], [name_f]Serenity[/name_f] and [name_m]William[/name_m] barely fit.
I’d say no, and use [name_f]McKenna[/name_f] [name_f]Adriannah[/name_f] instead if you have to, but it’s still very long LOL
Tooooo long, and too many N’s. And trying to say it is rather clumsy.
[name_f]Adrianna[/name_f] is quite pretty, and [name_f]McKenna[/name_f] is a guilty pleasure of mine. I agree that it sounds nice hypothetically, but that spelling is quite cumbersome, with the four n’s, and an extra h on [name_f]Adrianna[/name_f]. Her name would never, ever be spelled correctly! This is just one smoosh name that I can’t get behind.
I don’t care for it. It is such a mouthful, and the spelling could be simplified.
It sounds like a name that an eight year old would make up.
Same. [name_m]Way[/name_m] too long.
I’m not a fan. “Mc” to me indicates a surname, so I’d be expecting something like McKenzie, McKendry, [name_f]McKenna[/name_f] or McLaren. An ending like -kenndriannah is very frilly and feminine so I think it really clashes with the Mc bit. The spelling feels unnecessarily drawn out. [name_f]Adriana[/name_f], McKendry, [name_f]McKenna[/name_f] or Kendriana would be much nicer [name_f]IMO[/name_f]
What about Kendriana?
I…have no idea how I would even go about pronouncing this name.
As a teacher, if I saw McKendrianna (or however the #$&% it’s spelled) on my roster, I would have to fight the strong urge to scream.
