Meaningful middle names?

Hello! I’m writing a YA novel about a girl whose twin sister dies in a car crash. The book’s main themes are communication, family, different forms of love (family, friend, sexual, romantic), and tolerance.

The main character/narrator’s name is [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] means “desired child,” which I like because [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]'s mom only wanted one kid, and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] was always the “easier” child, so she was the more “desired child.” I want her to have a middle name that means “alone” or “shadow,” because she always describes herself as her sister’s shadow. Right now I’m using [name_f]Elona[/name_f] as a filler, and I think it’s really pretty, but it’s not too difficult to tell that [name_f]Elona[/name_f] is just an anagram for alone.

Her twin sister is [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] ([name_f]Grace[/name_f] is the family name, by the way). She’s very loud and bold and altogether different from [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] means “rebel,” which I think is excellent. Right now her middle name is “Terrwyn,” which means “brave or noble,” but I’m thinking of changing it. Maybe something like “exalted,” since [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] puts [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] on a pedestal at times.

One of the plot-centric characters is [name_f]Nova[/name_f] [name_m]Cooper[/name_m]-Urist. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] means “new” in Latin, which is perfect, because [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]'s friendship with [name_f]Nova[/name_f] represents something of a new era. I have no idea what her middle name should be, though.

Another friend is [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f], who is an actress. Her entire personality is centered around acting; she’s asexual, so she makes many sexual jokes to cover her insecurity. I want a name that means “masked” or “actor” or “hidden” to be [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]'s middle name.

Lastly, there’s [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_f]Nova[/name_f]'s brother. For him, I’d like a name that means “love” or “loving,” but isn’t stereotypically romantic, like [name_m]Romeo[/name_m].

[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]'s dad is a literature professor, so classic/literary names would be perfect for either of them! [name_f]Nova[/name_f]'s family is a bit “outside-the-box” as well. I know Latin, so any variations on Latin names/words would be greatly appreciated (I’ll probably flail around and show my best friend, who also knows Latin, and then we’ll fangirl together). Thanks so much for your help!
