My boyfriend and I are trying to pick out a boys name and there are some obvious choices that we’re leaning too. We want to use [name]Benjamin[/name] for sure because that is the name of his best friend that was killed in a horrible car wreck in 2003 (my boyfriend was the driver and that was the biggest turning point of his life.) This name is for sure and hes really adament about that which is fine with me because I like the idea. The other name we want to use is [name]Jameson[/name] which is the last name of my first love, who passed away in 2009 from cystic fibrosis (his first name was [name]Tyler[/name] and I dont want to use that name because I see so many [name]Tyler[/name]'s!) However, we cant seem to put these two names together. [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] seems like the better version of it. The flow seems off though.
So [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] OR [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] ???
The other names we considered are:
[name]Holden[/name] (main character of my favorite book)
[name]Christopher[/name] (my brothers name…he passed away in 1997 in a car wreck)
[name]Liam[/name] (my boyfriends name is [name]William[/name] with the nn [name]Will[/name] and we figured [name]William[/name] with the NN [name]Liam[/name] is cute)
I love the significance of all your choices! I think [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] sounds fine–I don’t know if you’re up for slight alterations, but [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]James[/name] or [name]James[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] would flow better and I think it still would honor both people quite well. Otherwise, I really like [name]Holden[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]/[name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Holden[/name] and [name]Liam[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]/[name]William[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] nn [name]Liam[/name].
Good luck!
I agree with pp that [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]James[/name] flows better than [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] and still honors both people. [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]William[/name] or [name]William[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] also work well, and you could use the nn [name]Liam[/name] either way. I also like [name]Christopher[/name] [name]William[/name] (maybe for a second son if you are set on using [name]Benjamin[/name] this time).
[name]Benjamin[/name] [name]James[/name] would be really nice. Save [name]Christopher[/name] [name]William[/name] for a future son. I think your choices are gorgeous, and I love how meaningful they are to you two.
