Don’t you all love names with poetic meanings? Names such as [name_m]Petrichor[/name_m] - “the earthy scent of fresh rain on dry ground,” [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] - “dweller at the meadow by the manor” and [name_f]Esclarmonde[/name_f] - “light of the world.” What are some of your favourite names with swoon-worthy meanings?

marlowe - “from the hill by the lake” i’ve also heard “storyteller” and “driftwood” as meanings. i think they’re all lovely.
felix - “fortunate, blessed, happy”
eleanor - “bright, shining one”
