Medival Names?

I’m writing a story that takes place in Medival times and I need names for a few of my characters.

  1. The main character is a youngish dwarf who is made fun of a lot because of his uglyness and is angry at humans for treating him badly. His friend however is trying to make him into a kind gentleman

  2. The dwarf’s friend and wife. She is not a dwarf herself! She is a very attractive brunette and kind to everyone. Gentle, patient, and faithful.

  3. Poor miller’s daugter. She is vain and is trying to get her father to buy her things that they can’t afford.

  4. Another selfish character is the king. He is spoiled and only thinks of whats best for him.

  1. For him I think [name]Hadrian[/name] or Rulf, they appear tough on the outside but really have a soft spot.

  2. For the wife [name]Guinevere[/name] or Ysmay, they are pretty attractive names.

  3. Poor miller girl should be Ayleth in my opinion.

  4. The king should be [name]Benedict[/name].

Here’s a link to names : http://medieval.stormthecastle.com/medieval-names.htm

Fair warning: I’m not very good with guy names! Or medieval names, for that matter.

  1. [name]Brynmor[/name]

  2. [name]Jessamine[/name]

  3. [name]Ffion[/name]

  4. I agree, [name]Benedict[/name].

well you might not like them but:

  1. Throrodin (It’s unique and dwarfish sounding)
  2. [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmalina[/name_f] (Soft beautiful names)
  3. [name_f]Theodora[/name_f] or [name_f]Johana[/name_f] ([name_u]Unique[/name_u] but less virtuous sounding)
  4. I also agree with [name_m]Benedict[/name_m]

Well that’s my list  I hope it was helpful

for the wife, Guinevere. The daughter sounds like a Morgana to me. As for the king, Uther-like Uther Pendragon in the BBC Merlin series.
