Megan nn Annie?

I’m wondering what you all think of some unconventional nicknames for [name]Megan[/name], such as …

[name]Daisy[/name] (Since [name]Daisy[/name] is a nickname for [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Marguerite[/name], etc.)

I’d really appreciate your opinions : )

I guess they could work, but [name]Anne[/name], [name]Annie[/name], and [name]Nan[/name] seem extremely unintuitive. I pronounce the -an at the end of [name]Megan[/name] more like ‘in’, so [name]Annie[/name] would not come naturally at all. I like the idea of [name]Megan[/name] nicknamed [name]Daisy[/name], though. If [name]Margaret[/name] can be [name]Daisy[/name], why not [name]Megan[/name]?

I agree that most people don’t pronounce [name]Megan[/name] with an -an sound. It’s usually an -in or even -un. So [name]Anne[/name], [name]Annie[/name], and [name]Nan[/name] I don’t think would work. [name]Daisy[/name] could be though.
