Is Meira a name? If yes, how do you pronounce it? I’m assuming like “[name_f]Mira[/name_f]” (Mee-rah), but I’m not 100% sure. Any tips?

A quick google search tells me Meira is a Hebrew name meaning ‘light’.
From what I can gather, I would say it is pronounced the same as [name_f]Mira[/name_f].
I think Meira looks really pretty. We have been thinking about using [name_f]Mira[/name_f] lately and I would probably use the latter spelling to avoid confusion.
I think [name_f]Maria[/name_f] is gorgeous.
There’s a little girl at my synagogue named Meira - her family pronounces it [name_f]MAY[/name_f]-ra.
By the way, her two younger sisters are named [name_f]Navah[/name_f] (NAH-vah) and [name_f]Keren[/name_f] (Keh-[name_m]RENN[/name_m]).
My first thought was Mey-rah or may-rah
I’d just stick with the original [name_f]Mira[/name_f] spelling, but choose what you like the best 
My first guess would either be MY-ra or [name_f]MAY[/name_f]-ra. If you are looking for an alternative spelling of [name_f]Mira[/name_f], I would suggest [name_f]Meera[/name_f]. Good luck!
Meira appears to be a legit name, a feminine form of [name_m]Meir[/name_m]. I prefer [name_f]Mira[/name_f].
