[name]Marisa[/name]/[name]Marissa[/name]

I prefer [name]Marissa[/name]/[name]Marisa[/name] (which I say differently, btw–[name]Marisa[/name]'s usually the Hispanic version, said mah-[name]REE[/name]-sah, while [name]Marissa[/name] is mah-RISS-ah). [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Marisa[/name], though, I thought it always sounded so warm and welcoming, yet so international. It sounds so close to [name]Parisa[/name], it always makes me think of beautiful European cities like [name]Vienna[/name] and [name]Paris[/name] and Prague.

I know many of each (including [name]Marisa[/name] and [name]Marissa[/name] spellings, all the people I know pronounce their name muh-RISS-uh regardless of spelling). Prefer [name]Marisa[/name], it feels less dated/tired than [name]Melissa[/name].

I don’t like either of them- they both feel so tired- but I suppose I dislike [name]Marisa[/name] the least.

I prefer [name]Melisent[/name] and [name]Marin[/name]. But [name]Marisa[/name]'s the best of the two.

I like [name]Marissa[/name] best!! But I chose [name]Melissa[/name].
