I’m struggling to come up with new combos for these two beauties:
[name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] - My original choice was [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f], but that was before I revamped my list to include at least one nature name in each combo. Then for a long time my choice was [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], but I have since known a [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] that has made the name unusable for me. [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] feels cool and shadowy to me, all purples and blues and silver flashes. I would love to pair this with something that complements those colors and has witchy or mermaid vibes.
[name_f]Melusine[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]) - For a long time my combo was [name_f]Melusine[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], but I really wanted [name_f]Willow[/name_f] in the first name slot, and when I found the [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Avalon[/name_f] combo, that was that. To me, this name feels slinky and serpentine, all smooth black and shady green. I would love to pair this with something that continues that feeling of silky darkness. Think Slytherin!
For both of these combos, I would like the suggestions to be nature or word names, but they can be firsts or middles, whatever you like. I am excited to see your creative ideas!
@greyblue - Thank you! I’m loving [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f]! [name_f]Solstice[/name_f] is beautiful as well - [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_f]Solstice[/name_f] is pure magic!
Melusina is a water goddess, said to be the founder of the House of Luxembourg, and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Woodville ([name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]York[/name_m] aka The White [name_f]Queen[/name_f]) is descended from her. If you choose [name_f]Melusine[/name_f], you might find inspiration in water-associated (or even royal-associated) second names. From the other poster’s list I like [name_f]Emerald[/name_f]. [name_u]Unique[/name_u], beautiful, descriptive of water and the jewels of royalty!
Other ideas:
[name_f]Melusine[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] (since [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is out)
[name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_f]Melusine[/name_f] (Though, [name_f]Isla[/name_f] is becoming more popular and you don’t seem to be into popular names)
[name_f]Melusine[/name_f] Mer ([name_m]French[/name_m] for Sea)
[name_f]Melusine[/name_f] [name_f]Terra[/name_f] (Two elements: water and earth)
[name_f]Melusine[/name_f] Siren (For me, nothing gets more Slytherin than a siren)
[name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] (The woeful [name_u]Grey[/name_u] Lady, though a Ravenclaw, probably would have been a better Slytherin)
[name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_u]Echo[/name_u]
[name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] (Or, [name_f]Whisper[/name_f])
[name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] (Thinking of Poison [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], a Batman villain, but a badass)
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] (just a lovely, lovely name)
@epaul - I had no idea about [name_f]Melusine[/name_f]'s connection to the royal family! That is so fascinating. I’m enamored with several of these combos! I feel like you have a great grasp of my style. [name_f]Melusine[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f], [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_u]Grey[/name_u], and [name_f]Morwenna[/name_f] [name_u]Echo[/name_u] are gorgeous. Switching things up a bit, [name_f]Melusine[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Melusine[/name_f] [name_f]Whisper[/name_f] are also swoonworthy. Thank you for the inspiration!

@sorceress - We seem to have similar taste! Many of the names in your signature are on my shortlist! I do love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but I prefer it as a first name in its own right. Thank you for the suggestions!
