I’ve sort of become a bit obsessed with these two names for a boy over the weekend, and I’m sort of curious what others think. [name_m]Meyer[/name_m] I was simply thinking of using as a middle–he is a character in a memoir I’m reading right now that I super love–but [name_u]Mercer[/name_u] I just like for the surnamey quality and the fact that it reminds me of “mercy”–a desirable quality, I think! I love [name_u]Mercer[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], but he’s sort of become my MN of choice lately. I go through stages of wanting to pair every new favorite name with a certain middle name–I’ve cycled through [name_u]Grey[/name_u], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], and [name_u]Elias[/name_u] at certain points, and I guess it’s [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]'s turn now. It is a family name, in a way, but I’d like to ideally not pair [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] with [name_f]EVERY[/name_f] name on my list. 
I sort of like [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] [name_m]Meyer[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] for [name_m]Meyer[/name_m], but I’m not sure it’s a keeper?
At this point, though, I’m really just looking for second opinions on [name_m]Meyer[/name_m] and [name_u]Mercer[/name_u]. Would you use them? Any favorite combos? In particular, what do you see a [name_u]Mercer[/name_u] to be like?
