What do you think of the name [name_f]Mercy[/name_f]? I find it charming—and rather comforting—as well as youthful-sounding, though I maybe found it too severe previously. It’s a name that has grown on me a lot. I like:
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f] has had a longstanding place in my heart all the way back to the 3rd grade if I remember correctly. The alternate spelling, [name_f]Mercie[/name_f], makes me look at it as more modern and less Puritan but I still like the traditional [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] better.
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Evadne[/name_f] is poetic, I’m actually likely to add this (and other interesting options I find here) to my own personal list of [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] possibles.

I love [name_f]Mercy[/name_f]! I wouldn’t be brave enough to put it in the first name spot, but I’d love to see others use it [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Althea[/name_f] is gorgeous! [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] has been on my long list for quite a while.
I’ve always thought [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] was an incredibly sweet name!! I think if I were to use it I’d go with [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f], or [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]!
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f] is so warm and sweet! I adore @ellerbea’s suggestion of [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] for a perfect balance of gentle and serious with bright and energetic. I might also go with something like [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] Madeline; I’m really liking alliteration with this [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] for whatever reason!
