[name]Meredith[/name] has kind of snuck up on me, but I can’t think of any nn’s other than [name]Merry[/name]…

[name]How[/name] about Mer or [name]Dottie[/name]?
I think [name]Meredith[/name] is a really nickname resistant name, other than [name]Merry[/name] there aren’t any good ones. Is the nickname issue important to you? Would it have to be a nickname related to her actual name?
I really like [name]Meredith[/name] btw.
Sadly you’re right, lol. [name]Meredith[/name] doesn’t really have many nicknames. Nicknames are pretty big with me - the name is for me, btw, sorry. [name]Mera[/name] might work though, yeah?
Yeah that could definitely work! [name]Merry[/name] would be sweet on a very young child but I think [name]Mera[/name] could be more of an “any age” lifelong nickname.
[name]Meredith[/name] is lovely! I like [name]Edie[/name] as a nn.
I also thought about [name]Merry[/name], that’s the most obvious one. But it can be [name]Edith[/name] too. I think nn [name]Edith[/name] is kinda cute.
I knew a [name]Meredith[/name] that went by Dithy. I don’t think this would work for everyone but it did on her.

[name]Mare[/name]

My name is actually [name]Meredith[/name], although my user name says [name]Mary[/name] [name]Beth[/name]. I never had nicknames growing up, and I think my parents liked that the name was always used in full. My husband calls me [name]Mary[/name] sometimes, and I’ve had some close relatives call me Mer. But it’s been a nice name to grow up with!
[name]Meredith[/name] is cute! I read a novel where they used [name]Meredith[/name], and were talking about [name]Meredith[/name] nn [name]Mary[/name] vs. [name]Edith[/name], and they ended up just using the full name, no nn, but I do think [name]Edith[/name] or [name]Edie[/name] is really cute for [name]Meredith[/name]. Sorry, I can’t think of anything that hasn’t been mentioned! Unless you use [name]Em[/name]/[name]Emmy[/name] (this would work especially if you use an “E” MN…).
My sister’s name is [name]Meredith[/name] and she is called “[name]Meri[/name]” (pronounced [name]Merry[/name]) most of the time.
