Meredith

What are your thoughts on the name [name]Meredith[/name]? Does it seems to “stuck-up” or “haughty” to you?
I keep getting this vibe from it, and I’m not sure why. It feels a bit impersonal, if that makes any sense.

I think [name]Meredith[/name] is cute. My best friend growing up was [name]Meredith[/name] and she wasn’t stuck up at all. I do think a little of [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Grey[/name] from Gre’s Anatomy which doesn’t really give me stuck up vibes either. I picture someone who is extremely smart and driven.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Meredith[/name], is not stuck up or snotty to me.

I like it a lot. A little bit rolling and regal maybe, but I find -th as an ending keeps it from sounding too jagged or brittle. I like [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Meredith[/name] has a similar quality.

I think I’d especially like it as a middle name for that reason - not that I dislike it and want to hide it, but I like that rhythm and unexpectedness in the middle compared to standbys like [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Rose[/name]/[name]Grace[/name].

[name]Meredith[/name] used to be one of my favorite names growing up. I still like it some, and I don’t think of it as snobby/stuck up.

I don’t get a stuck-up vibe, but I do get a serious vibe (although I don’t mind serious-sounding girls’ names). [name]Merry[/name] would be a nice, lighthearted nickname.

Sounds a little dated to me.

I love [name]Meredith[/name]. It’s not too common, and it’s classy without being tired.

I think it’s a bit hard to find mns that go well with [name]Meredith[/name], but I do like the flow of [name]Meredith[/name] [name]Winter[/name].

[name]Man[/name], I love [name]Meredith[/name]. It simply rolls off the tongue. Sweet but strong.

[name]Meredith[/name] is one of my favorite names. Classic and sweet, not stuck up at all.

It’s kinda boring, to me

My best friend when little was a [name]Meredith[/name] and i love her name! She went by Mer/Mere almost exclusively (spoken by friends and family, written and by teachers it was her full name). It’s strong without being harsh and i really like the three syllable length.

[name]One[/name] of my best friends’ little sisters is [name]Meredith[/name]. She completely shapes my vision of the name. She’s very kindhearted and very precocious. Not stuck up at all. [name]Even[/name] the [name]Meredith[/name] I knew in college (whose family was very well off) wasn’t haughty at all. She was more reserved but smart and very funny around her friends. [name]Lovely[/name], lovely name!

I love [name]Meredith[/name]. I don’t get a stuck up vibe. I think it sounds regal which in turn sounds serious. I love it though

I love it – sweet and strong; it is not snooty to me at all.

I love the name [name]Meredith[/name]. It was never popular where I live, and it seems fresh and classy. Actually the only [name]Meredith[/name] I have ever met is about 5 years old! It doesn’t give me a stuck up vibe at all. It makes me picture somebody classy and intelligent, but still small town and down to earth.

I adore it and I don’t understand why so many people hate it that much and say it’s dated. The few Merediths I knew were young and cute and beautiful and so is the name.

I love this name. There’s a girl in my school with this name, and she is really sweet and enthusiastic and sincere so I have nothing but good connotations with this name.

[name]Meredith[/name] is a lovely underused name and you can’t get a happier nickname than [name]Merry[/name]!

I actually really like [name]Meredith[/name]! It’s growing on me more and more every time I see it. I used to think it was boring, but now I can clearly picture an adorable little toddler with chubby cheeks, blonde hair and a bubbly personality.
