I recently came across the name [name]Meredy[/name], and I was wondering what you think of it? My favorite combo is [name]Meredy[/name] [name]Faye[/name] or [name]Meredy[/name] [name]May[/name].

This is a new one for me. I like it, but it’s a bit cutesy for an adult. I would love it as a nn for [name]Meredith[/name] though!!!
[name]Flick[/name], [name]Just[/name] some place on the vast internet. Can’t remember. But I was struck by the name and remembered it. Initially, I hoped it was a variant of [name]Mary[/name] (I’m always looking for a variant of [name]Mary[/name] that I actually like), but no luck. Oh well, I still quite like it. Seems modern to me and easy to pronounce, without being very familiar…

As a [name]Merideth[/name] myself it feels strange to me. It seems like something would call me as a purposely over the top nickname.
Oooh, I love this name! Thanks for sharing it. We are still searching (due in 3.5 weeks!). I love the name [name]Meredith[/name], but prefer more “out there” names and this is a fresh take on a beautiful classic.
I adore it. I’ve never heard it before. I like [name]Meredith[/name], too, but this one seems a bit fresher and spunkier. I also much prefer it to [name]Merida[/name], which already felt tired to me compared to the lovely [name]Meredith[/name] the first time I heard it.
I’ve loved ever since I came across a minor character in an anime series named it- but had no idea it was actually a variation of [name]Meredith[/name]. I do love [name]Merida[/name] as well, but I don’t think I can ever use that version because of the Disney movie. [name]Meredy[/name] is a modern alternative to [name]Meredith[/name] and [name]Melody[/name], in my opinion.

I am liking it! Reminds me of the words merrily and melody and the names [name]Meredith[/name] and [name]Verity[/name]. All good things in my opinion. Very pretty, and I’ve never heard it before.
The first time I heard this name was from this post, and I have been obsessing over it ever since. My husband isn’t crazy about it (though, he thinks every name I like is “too weird,” but I think if I start calling her this he’ll give, haha). So I just want to “bump” this to get more thoughts on the name, and also possible middle names. I’d love to honor my sister and use her name as a middle name, but does [name]Meredy[/name] [name]Angel[/name] sound good together?
