[name_m]Merrick[/name_m] is really handsome! And I adore [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. Be sure to choose a name you love! 
I once coached a little boy named [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] and he was such a happy little guy! All smiles all the time and always tried his best. Because of him I have really good associations with this name and I love it. It’s different but not unheard of and really strong sounding
It reminds me of is it Merck, the pharmaceutical company? Or merde, [name_m]French[/name_m] for manure.
I confess I like [name_m]Garrick[/name_m] better or even Merit.
I am however probably the only person with these associations though and I am sure if I knew someone nice named this, I would no longer think of them.
I really like the name. I think of [name_f]Merry[/name_f] - happy
