Merrick

I was just wondering what you all think about [name_m]Merrick[/name_m]? We no longer think we can use [name_m]Declan[/name_m], and I’ve had me eye on [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] and [name_m]McCoy[/name_m] for a bit. I love Irish/Scottish/Welsh names, so they fit the bill.

Big brother is [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is still at the top of our list for now if the next baby is a boy.

I quite like it, it’s an interesting name that you don’t hear too often. Between [name_m]McCoy[/name_m] and [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] I really like [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] better.

For me [name_m]McCoy[/name_m] is a bit to far on the surname side of the scale to really get behind it as a first name. And I would say that I prefer [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Declan[/name_m] to Merrik. Also I think that the nickname a lot of people would go to would be [name_f]Merri[/name_f] and I’m not a fan of that.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! Great with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].

I like [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] with [name_u]Jameson[/name_u], and I like it better than [name_m]McCoy[/name_m]. Knew a real surname [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] once, but I kinda like, much more than [name_m]McCoy[/name_m], which is too surname-y and too vengeful for me.

Thank you guys!! I think [name_m]Ive[/name_m] decided to stick to [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u]!

[name_m]Merrick[/name_m] is so cool! Not a fan of [name_m]McCoy[/name_m], really hard for me to see it as a first name.
