[name]Merryn[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
or
[name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], nickname [name]Thea[/name].
[name]Merryn[/name] [name]Elise[/name]
or
[name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], nickname [name]Thea[/name].
My favorite:
[name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], nickname [name]Thea[/name]–love this nickname!
While I much prefer the sound of [name]Merryn[/name] [name]Elise[/name], [name]Merryn[/name] looks quite tryndee and made up to me.
Have you considered spelling it [name]Mirren[/name]? [name]Mirren[/name] is a Scottish form of [name]Marion[/name] that I absolutely love!!
^^
I never liked [name]Thea[/name], or [name]Theadora[/name]/[name]Theodora[/name]. I also think [name]Elise[/name] is much more intriguing than good old [name]Elizabeth[/name]…
[name]Theodora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is lovely! But I’d have to agree with Dearest on the spelling of [name]Merryn[/name] (unless you’re Cornish). What about the Latin version [name]Maren[/name]?
[name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]…and [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Thea[/name] as nn
I agree with dearest. Perhaps you could spell it [name]Marin[/name], [name]Maren[/name], or even Maryn?
THANK YOU!!!
[name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] nn [name]Thea[/name] is by far my favorite! Although, I do prefer the spelling [name]Theodora[/name], since it is more legit. [name]Thea[/name] is a lovely nn, and [name]Elizabeth[/name] is just an all-around gorgeous name. Good choice!
[name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]!!! [name]Thea[/name] is a great nickname, and I also love [name]Doe[/name]!
Thank you for responding! I think we are going to go with [name]Theodora[/name] or [name]Theadora[/name]. I am happy to hear that people like the name. I love the nn. [name]Thea[/name], but would pronounce it ‘Thee-ah’
Thank you! I am really drinking up these responses.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Theodora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], especially with the nickname [name]Thea[/name]
Yay!
bump
Definitely [name]Theodora[/name] (but spell it this way, otherwise it’s made up). I like [name]Thea[/name], too.
I love [name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]! Though I do prefer it as [name]Theodora[/name], still with the nn [name]Thea[/name]. Good luck!
[name]Merryn[/name] [name]Elise[/name] is beautiful, and it is a name that imo should have been used much more. I think it sounds feminine and trendy but it is an old name not a new made up one.
I love the nn of [name]Merry[/name] too. I hope you use [name]Merryn[/name] [name]Elise[/name].
On [name]Theadora[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] it sounds rather over the top to me, quite theatrical, and a big contrast to the quiet and feminine [name]Merryn[/name] [name]Elise[/name].
It’s a derivative, not made up.
Wow! Thanks, [name]Rollo[/name]. A lot of people tend to dislike [name]Merryn[/name], so it has been pushed to the back burner, but it’s still on the stove!!!
It’s a derivative, not made up.[/quote]
Well, it comes from [name]Theodore[/name], and [name]Theadore[/name] is not a legitimate variant, so I would say [name]Theadora[/name] is the same. It was probably created to make it easier to get to the nickname [name]Thea[/name]. [name]Lovely[/name] name, though!
