Does this work? Is this a thing? lol.
My husband wants our little girlto be called [name_f]Mia[/name_f] and I like that name but it’s so…simple. I love [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], so I was wondering if this was a doable compromise?
I don’t really see it but I’m sure if you start calling her that others will, too
I’m sorry, but I don’t see it at all. I think there are other more complicated names you can use as a way to get nn [name_f]Mia[/name_f], but [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is not one of them.
Some suggestions:
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Dominica[/name_f]
[name_f]Damiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Amia[/name_f]
[name_f]Maria[/name_f]
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
[name_f]Camilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Lumina[/name_f]
[name_f]Malia[/name_f]
[name_f]Melania[/name_f]
I agree. I think [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] would be a gorgeous combo, too, for what it’s worth. I could see [name_f]Mia[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Serafima[/name_f]/[name_f]Seraphima[/name_f], but not [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. Then again, in many languages, “mia” means “my”, so I suppose you could technically use [name_f]Mia[/name_f] as a nn for any child of yours, due to its meaning.
Good luck!
I was going to say the exact same thing
Iam sorry, but i dont see [name_f]Mia[/name_f] as a nickname for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f].
I love the [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] suggestion!
Might I suggest [name_f]Nina[/name_f] as a nn? It’s quite similar to [name_f]Mia[/name_f]…
I agree. I think [name_f]Mia[/name_f] can work as a NN to pretty much anything that starts with “M” and ends in “-a”. It’s an odd NN choice for a name that doesn’t have an M though.
NNs that could work with [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]:
[name_f]Sera[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
Phia
[name_f]Siri[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] (technically a NN for [name_f]Sarah[/name_f])
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
FNs that could have the NN [name_f]Mia[/name_f]:
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Melina[/name_f]
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f]Adamina[/name_f]
[name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Mirabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Marielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f]
I don’t think [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is a suitable nickname for [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]. I suggest using [name_f]Nia[/name_f] as a nickname
Uh… no. It doesn’t work at all, sorry. And I am saying this as a person who like not-so-obvious nicknames.
I agree that it doesn’t work but [name_f]Mia[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] is lovely.
I don’t really see it because there’s no “m” in [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Nia[/name_f] would be really cute
