I posted a few weeks back about choosing a girl name that pairs well with my last name, [name_u]Allison[/name_u].
At this point I really like [name_f]Mia[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. Looking for opinions on which one we should choose and any middle name suggestions!
Personally I prefer the flow of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] with your last name! I think the sharp, cool V sound works really well with the softer sounds of [name_u]Allison[/name_u].
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] (initials would be MIA - so it could be a nickname)
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
It’s gonna be a Maeve from me, although Mia is very sweet. I think it flows better with Allison, I adore its meaning, and I believe it’s a little more unique in comparison!
As for middle names, I love the previous suggestions of Maeve Isabelle or Maeve Isabel with Mia as a potential nickname option.
Here are some more ideas in a few different styles:
I prefer [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]! It’s unique but recognizable, and it flows very nicely with your last name. [name_f]Mia[/name_f] is nice too, but not my favorite and doesn’t sound quite as good with your last name.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] might go well with a three-syllable middle name like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or another v sound like [name_u]Ivy[/name_u] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f]!
