We both love [name_u]Michael[/name_u] “[name_u]Micah[/name_u]” for a boy and that is definitely our number one pick (back up will most likely be [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] “[name_u]Max[/name_u]” or possibly [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] “[name_u]Ricky[/name_u]”). Which middle name flows best? The middle names are family names so they cannot be changed at all and our last name is [name_u]West[/name_u] [name_u]Brook[/name_u] (without the space and an E at the end, just don’t want it to be googled).
I love the name [name_u]Micah[/name_u] for a boy! In my opinion, [name_u]Francis[/name_u] sounds too feminine compared to [name_u]Michael[/name_u], and [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u], although it is a great name, is too similar to [name_u]Michael[/name_u] to use them together. I think [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and [name_m]Robert[/name_m] all work great with [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_u]Micah[/name_u]. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is probably [name_u]James[/name_u].
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] by far. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] are very generic and, well, boring. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u] share too many sounds for my liking. If you plan to call him [name_u]Micah[/name_u], why not just name him [name_u]Micah[/name_u]? Not only is [name_u]Micah[/name_u] a name in its own right, but it isn’t any shorter than [name_u]Michael[/name_u].
Hmm…
[name_u]Michael[/name_u] is a great name a stable classic which sounds wholesome and handsome. I love the [name_u]Micah[/name_u] nickname I think it’s intriguing and vibrant. I also love how [name_u]Michael[/name_u] works with your surname. It feels almost stately. I also love your back up choices, [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] is a great name eating into the surname trend but again feels like a stereotypical American classic. [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] is also lovely. A great Irish name however I dislike a lot of the nicknames surrounding this choice including [name_u]Ricky[/name_u]. I don’t see why [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] has to have a nickname?! [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] is wholesome and lovely on it’s own.
[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts on the middle names:-
[name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] - [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is a lovely classic and sounds handsome with [name_u]Francis[/name_u]. [name_u]Francis[/name_u] is a lovely traditional choice which paired with [name_u]Michael[/name_u] feels charming. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] is a lovely choice.
[name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] - [name_u]James[/name_u] is a lovely classic. He has a great sound with [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] just feels effortless and slightly more modern than [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]. I do prefer [name_u]James[/name_u] over [name_u]Francis[/name_u].
[name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] - [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is a lovely classic as is [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. However I’m unsure as to whether I like [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] paired together. I think [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] dulls the sound of [name_u]Michael[/name_u] in a strange off beat way. I think [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] would work better with [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m].
[name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] - Again I like [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. It’s a handsome choice feels fiery and due to the name being the name of my Scottish Grandfather, [name_m]Robert[/name_m] feels very Scottish and I like this vibe. It links to some of my heritage. But again I’m not sure on [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_m]Robert[/name_m] together. I’d prefer [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u].
[name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u] - [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u] is a great classic. He feels classy, has an almost European flair and feels handsome. [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u] is a lovely choice and sounds brilliant with [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u] is gorgeous.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_u]Michael[/name_u] [name_u]Carlisle[/name_u]
