Both are lovely names, but I much prefer [name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m]. ---

[name\_u]Michael[/name\_u] is too plain to be a first name, IMHO. I looooove [name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m]! 🙂 ---

I voted for [name\_u]Michael[/name\_u]. I like the sound more than [name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m]. Also, if you are into nicknames, [name\_u]Michael[/name\_u] has some cool ones: [name\_m]Mick[/name\_m], [name\_u]Micky[/name\_u], [name\_u]Mica[/name\_u], [name\_u]Mika[/name\_u], [name\_m]Cael[/name\_m]. ---

I prefer [name\_u]Michael[/name\_u]. It has nicknames I love while nothing appeals to me about [name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m]. ---

[name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m]! I want to like [name\_u]Michael[/name\_u], but I’ve never been able to get into it. I like [name\_u]Micah[/name\_u], but I absolutely adore [name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m] and the nn [name\_u]Pax[/name\_u] (or even [name\_u]Paddy[/name\_u]). ---

[name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m]! There are so very many Michaels, Mikes, and Mikeys. As much as I love the connection with Archangel [name\_u]Michael[/name\_u], I feel like it’s been beaten to death as a first name, whereas [name\_m]Patrick[/name\_m] is ripe for dusting off with all the interest in Irish names at the moment. ---

I prefer [name\_u]Michael[/name\_u] due to the abundance of nicknames that I could derive from it.
