I picked [name]Clint[/name], [name]Dean[/name], and [name]Vance[/name].
[name]Clint[/name] makes me think of a tough guy, like [name]Clint[/name] [name]Eastwood[/name].
[name]Dean[/name] is suave and cool, like [name]Dean[/name] [name]Martin[/name].
I don’t have an association with any Vances, but it makes me picture a cute, tall, thin guy in a letterman’s jacket hanging out at the soda shop, maybe kind of [name]Wally[/name] Cleaver-ish.
My fourth pick would have been [name]Ken[/name], which makes me think of a cute, tan, blond surfer, like the [name]Ken[/name] doll.

Fun thread!

[name]Hi[/name], [name]Susan[/name]! I picked [name]Vance[/name] and [name]Clint[/name].

I love your threads!

I voted for [name]Vance[/name], [name]Dean[/name], and [name]Derrin[/name]. I would have picked [name]Clint[/name] but sister dated a [name]Clint[/name] in high school and the name unfortunately only reminds me of him.

I voted for [name]Ken[/name], [name]Craig[/name], and [name]Clint[/name].

[name]Ken[/name] - I loved my early '60’s [name]Ken[/name] doll who a black crew-cut and blue eyes. My mom gave him away to the missionaries, but I still have my beloved [name]Allan[/name] doll. If my mom had given him away, she would have been sorry!
I found a second [name]Allan[/name] doll at a garage sale. His hair isn’t all scratched off like my poor [name]Allan[/name]'s hair. When I was really little - maybe five-years-old, I loved to lick [name]Allan[/name]'s hair! I know, it’s embarrassing!

[name]Clint[/name] reminds me of the gorgeous [name]Clint[/name] [name]Eastwood[/name]. I love him in his sarape in “[name]Josie[/name] [name]Wales[/name]”.

There are lots of Mid-Century Modern architects named [name]Craig[/name], I think. Or they named their sons [name]Craig[/name]. What about [name]Craig[/name] [name]Ellwood[/name]? Has anyone ever heard of him? He designed my art school. When I was really young, I hated the name [name]Craig[/name]. After a while, I learned to love it. It is dated now, but its time will come again.

I can’t see how [name]Darrin[/name] or [name]Dwayne[/name] were ever cool.

[name]Lee[/name], [name]Troy[/name] and [name]Vance[/name]. [name]Dean[/name] almost made it.

You’re not in love with [name]Darren[/name] on “Bewitched”? First [name]Darren[/name] or second [name]Darren[/name]? jk! I really like the first [name]Darren[/name], but have never been in love with him. I think [name]Clint[/name] [name]Eastwood[/name] is handsome except I don’t think he is very kind. Too bad. Kind and handsome = [name]Tom[/name] Hanks, but he’s not on our list.

As far as [name]Dwayne[/name] goes, it’s all in the way you pronounce it. You start with “D”. Lower your chin, lift your eyebrows, and gruffly say, “Duh”…then you swing your shoulders slightly to the right, lift your chin, turn your face slightly to the left, then even less slightly to the right, lower your eyebrows, go up an octave, and twang, “way-ay-aynn.” You keep your mouth open as you smile and return your chin to its normal position. You have to look a little bit like a con artist during this whole process. It’s great if you have a diamond stuck in one of your front teeth. Once you say Duh-wayne several times in this manner, you will know how truly cool it is! It is cooler than [name]Dwight[/name] because it is harder to have a cool and smooth smile at the end of [name]Dwight[/name]. And [name]Dwayne[/name]'s cooler than [name]Wayne[/name], because it has the “Duh” sound at the beginning.
