We like biblical, classic, slightly offbeat…try to balance classic with different. Dad’s name is [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] but I fear [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is too boring.
I like the way [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] feels but is very hard to say. Initials P.O.W. or P.E.W. are fine with us.
Also, does anyone still make dick jokes about this name besides my dad??
If [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] bores you, do you like [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m] or [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Klaus[/name_m]?
I really like [name_u]Orion[/name_u], and I think [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] is great.
Wasn’t aware of any jokes, but I figure it out once you mentioned it - but I don’t think so.
I was going to suggest [name_m]Nikolai[/name_m]/[name_m]Nicolai[/name_m] as a [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] replacement - I love it and I think it sounds great with [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and with your other kids’ names.
Or even [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m]?
I don’t have a lot of ideas, but mostly I wanted to comment because I was so excited to see someone has used [name_m]Endymion[/name_m] in real life! I absolutely adore the name!! But to answer your question, here are a few ideas- I mostly went for sort of whimsical and offbeat, as [name_m]Peter[/name_m] has quite a familiar and classic feel to me. I also really like the flow of the three syllable middle names with a two syllable first and last name.
My son due this summer is likely a [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and we are planning to use [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] as the full name. Other names that kind of spice up [name_m]Peter[/name_m] to various degrees without costing it its classic/traditional appeal:
