PS: We like word/nature names, [name_f]Disney[/name_f] & names that honor Mary/Marion or [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. Last name starts with a T, ends in O (two syllables).
[name_m]August[/name_m] has really grown on me for a girl. Such a lovely warm, summery name that feels very stylish.
So my favourites are [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] which feels very warm with cottagecore imagery attached so lovely and cosy. [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is slightly descriptive but just screams summer and joy that I couldn’t not say she was one of my favourites! Finally [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is my final favourite she’s so southern [name_f]Belle[/name_f] such a sweet vibe.
I think with those three your onto a winner so maybe wait till she arrives and figure out which one is her
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] → charming and balanced
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Jo[/name_f] → sparky and fun but solid too
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] → balanced and sweet!
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] → warm and friendly, an honour and a word
If you wanted some suggestions here are a few, but feel free to ignore if not!
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Jo[/name_f] made me smile the most! It’s so bright and cheerful. I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] too and it certainly sounds beautiful with [name_m]August[/name_m]. I also like [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], especially since it combines two honour names for you.
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] reminds me a little of the name of a ship. As previously mentioned, the other word middles make [name_m]August[/name_m] sound like an adjective, so they aren’t my favourites but I think they are definitely usable.
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is sweet and adorable! It’s my favorite from your list. I imagine someone who lives in a warm place, perhaps in the countryside. In my mind, [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is always smiling, she is very friendly and loves to dance.
[name_f]My[/name_f] next choice would be [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]. It feels very balanced. I think it sounds beautiful, poetic and elegant.
I would assume [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Jo[/name_f] is a boy, but I believe it works as an unisex name. I definitely prefer [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] for a girl! It’s elegant and melodic.
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rain[/name_f] are very descriptive, I’m afraid. I love word names, but I don’t think I would use or suggest these options for real people.
They’re fun and could have nice interpretations. For example, depending on where you live, raining in [name_m]August[/name_m] may be uncommon and very desired in warm/ dry areas. You could say your [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rain[/name_f] is rare, but very wished. It may be romantic, but also a little too much?
I have similar feelings about [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f].
I adore [name_m]August[/name_m] for a girl! [name_m]Alas[/name_m], I have not been able to get my SO on board. It would even be a slight honour for a close family member for me.
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is so lovely. The delicate and familiar [name_f]Belle[/name_f] feels like the perfect balance for the more unexpected and exuberant [name_m]August[/name_m]. I love this combination. I also love the fun initials of AB.
[name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is one of my favourites of your options. Both names give me such bright and sunny feelings. [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is all sunshine, golden, flowers, warm late summer days. What a beautiful combination!
[name_f]My[/name_f] last pick would be [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f]Rain[/name_f]. I like the bit of contrast I get from this combination. [name_m]August[/name_m] is a more vibrant gold and yellow, compared with the soft, cloudy, blue [name_f]Rain[/name_f].
I am blown away by all of these insightful comments! I found myself nodding and agreeing with nearly all of them. We’re leaning toward [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] - but still very open to any new suggestions. Thank you
