I’ve been thinking about [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] again [name_f][/name_f]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though he feels different from my current style of longer European names and unexpected Biblical names, there’s just something about him. [name_f][/name_f] He reminds me of picturesque bridges and mountains and adventures, and rugged nature. [name_f][/name_f] Years ago my list was cluttered with surname names and I think my love of [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] is a remnant of that.
[name_f][/name_f]
If I can find a combo that I love, I might just actually[name_f][/name_f] add it to my list, but he’d have to feel more me than any other combo I’ve liked (because though I’ve crushed on [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] like mad, I cannot see myself using something so cowboyish, ever ). [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Can[/name_m] [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] work with the likes of [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m]? [name_f][/name_f] I’m lost on how to marry the styles, which is why names like [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] and [name_m]Baxter[/name_m] and [name_m]Dexter[/name_m] have remained GPs on my list for so long.
I feel like [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] could work with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- they’re stylish enough that it works? Equally, I feel like it could fit in with [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_m]Caspar[/name_m], [name_m]Rowan[/name_m], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], Amias… they’re different in style, but could be cohesive thanks to the fresh, handsome, stylish feel of them. Maybe it doesn’t go so well with [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] or [name_f]Aquila[/name_f], but brothers [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], and [name_m]Bridger[/name_m]? Sure. [name_m]Rowan[/name_m], [name_m]Bridger[/name_m], and [name_m]Amias[/name_m]? Why not?
I think your names are versatile enough to include the likes of [name_m]Bridger[/name_m], [name_m]Dexter[/name_m] and [name_m]Baxter[/name_m]. The best style matches for [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] from your list would probably be [name_m]Rowan[/name_m], [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m], [name_m]Rafe[/name_m] and [name_m]Asa[/name_m] but I can see others working too. I do think [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] exudes adventure, so in that sense it’s a good fit for your list.
[name_f][/name_f]
Another way to look at it is that different styles are a reflection of there being different sides to you. It’s fun to curate a certain style across your list, but eclectic sets reveal a more complex picture of who you are. So while [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] and [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] make a great set, there’s something a little more interesting about the spaces between the styles in [name_m]Bridger[/name_m], [name_m]Asa[/name_m] and [name_m]Rowan[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f]
It’s also likely that you would be naming with a partner in the future – what if [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] is one of only three or four names they love enough to use. Your combined list is probably going to look quite different, so why not include different styles on your own list? [name_m]Just[/name_m] my thoughts on it.
[name_m]Bridger[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] work perfectly fine to me. [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] feel a little mismatched, but not so much that they couldn’t[name_f][/name_f] be brothers. [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] and [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] are a little too different imo
[name_f][/name_f]
Thinking about your list, I think [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] could totally work with brothers like [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] or [name_m]Boaz[/name_m].

Middle name ideas… [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Alban[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Ammiel[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Noël[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] (pretty sure you have an [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] combo already but I love the sound of this!) [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Elias[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Caliban[/name_m] (love the sound, but admittedly not a great literary reference and it may look too much like Taliban[name_f][/name_f] for real life ) [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Emile[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Emilian[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Sylvain[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Gawain[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Adlai[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Anatole[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Gaius[/name_m]
Thank you everyone! [name_f][/name_f] Good to know you think he could work with at least some of my favorites! [name_f][/name_f] Added [name_m]Watson[/name_m] to my list a couple months ago, and I think [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] and [name_m]Watson[/name_m] work great too.
[name_f][/name_f]
@Greyblue[name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- thanks girl! [name_f][/name_f] I really like [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m], [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Zebedee[/name_m] (Zebulon reminded me of him lol), [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Clement[/name_m], and [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m]!
[name_f][/name_f]
@kachenka[name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- thanks lady! [name_f][/name_f] I love your take on the eclectic nature of my list, and I honestly love[name_f][/name_f] how eclectic it is [name_f][/name_f]- but for some reason, something like [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] feels much trendier than any of my other options? [name_f][/name_f] lol [name_f][/name_f] I really like [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Arcturus[/name_m], [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m], [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Malachi[/name_m], [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Ansel[/name_m] (!!), and [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] from your suggestions!
[name_f][/name_f]
@EagleEyes[name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- thanks love. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f] (Bridger & [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] ) [name_f][/name_f] I love your suggestions of [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Alban[/name_m], [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Amiel[/name_m], [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Adlai[/name_m], and [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Malcolm[/name_m]!
[name_f][/name_f]
@ThunderLee[name_f][/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- thank you! [name_f][/name_f] I really like [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] & [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Noble[/name_m]! [name_f][/name_f] [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] is fascinating, too [name_f][/name_f]- I have some special ties to the name from my childhood, but I’m ironically not the hugest fan of the name. [name_f][/name_f] Could see me going with it for the right second middle, though. [name_f][/name_f]
I do usually prefer [name_m]Zebulun[/name_m] to [name_m]Zebedee[/name_m], but The [name_m]Chosen[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] has me loving the character of [name_m]Zebedee[/name_m] lately, and something about [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Zebedee[/name_m] sings a little more than [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] Zebulon/Zebulun right now? [name_f][/name_f] Also [name_m]Bridger[/name_m] [name_m]Zebulon[/name_m] feels a little too “rugged American midwest” what with Pike’s [name_m]Peak[/name_m] (named after [name_m]Zebulon[/name_m] Pike) and the Bridger-Teton National [name_m]Forest[/name_m]. [name_f][/name_f] lol. [name_f][/name_f] But let’s face it, almost any rare Bible name is going to be my style LOL.
