me and husband are almost certain that our little girl will be called xanthe, but we’re stuck in middles. we have a short (long) lists bf would like some feedback & suggestions

xanthe zach (I love love love this, but is it too masculine?)

xanthia indie (we would use xanthia if we were to go with this middle)

• [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] Bloom - This is very pretty. I like the naturey Bloom alongside soft but quirky [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f].
• [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_m]Zell[/name_m] - Seems really cutesy; not my kind of thing.
• [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_m]Zach[/name_m] - I have never heard of [name_m]Zach[/name_m] on a girl so I’d have to lean towards yes, too masculine.
• [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] - Cute, and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] adds a modern, grounding twist to [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f].
• [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - Beautiful! It flows well and I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in the combo a lot.
• [name_f]Xanthia[/name_f] [name_f]Indie[/name_f] - It’s okay but I much prefer [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] to [name_f]Xanthia[/name_f], which is a touch frilly to me.
• [name_f]Xanthia[/name_f] [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f] - I’m not a fan of [name_f]Ryleigh[/name_f], and it feels jarring next to [name_f]Xanthia[/name_f].
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are lovely!!

My favourites on your list are [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], and the least favourite is [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_m]Zach[/name_m]. I would suggest the combo of [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] (meer-AYE) and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Noemi[/name_f].
Another vote for [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] is stunning, it’s one of my all time favorites. [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Quin[/name_u] all have great flow!

I don’t mind [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] Bloom as well. I’m not a fan of your others, and I don’t like [name_m]Zach[/name_m] for a girl.

For me personally, I get hung up on different letters making the same sounds in the combos of [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_m]Zell[/name_m] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_m]Zach[/name_m]. (I don’t personally have issues with the femme/masc matter because I’m all for gender anarchy in naming lol).
Alternatives to [name_m]Zell[/name_m] could be [name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_u]Dell[/name_u]
Alternatives to [name_m]Zack[/name_m] could be [name_m]Mack[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] or [name_m]Jax[/name_m]
I also adore the suggestion someone made of [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u]!
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] both have the most appealing imagery, and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], and [name_f]Xanthe [/name_f] [name_u]Rue [/name_u] are great choices if you don’t want an overly femme name.
