Looking for middle name suggestions for Avonlea. Really don’t like super-common names. Everything else is fair game.
Also, looking for nickname suggestions. The only one I like that comes to mind is [name_f]Ava[/name_f], but that’s super-popular right now. [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-lee sounds cute for a baby, but sounds kind of ditsy for an older child/adult. [name_f]Avie[/name_f] makes me think of the boyish [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. Any other ideas? With a 3 syllable first name, folks are going to start dropping nicknames on this baby. We’d like to steer that in the direction we’d like that to go before she gets nicknamed with something we’re not too fond of.
I have an Avonlea [name_u]Noel[/name_u]. She loves her name. When she was very young she couldn’t say Avonlea and called herself [name_u]Abby[/name_u], but she quickly started correcting people. She goes by Avonlea with no nickname other than the terms of endearment that just came about, ie “pumpkin” “sweet pea” “coffee bean” (long story :)).
Thanks for all the suggestions! We actually named our last baby [name_f]Bria[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. Avonlea [name_u]Noel[/name_u] is gorgeous too! I actually really love Avonlea [name_f]Grace[/name_f] (but [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is too common for what we prefer) and Avonlea [name_f]Raine[/name_f] (but already used up “[name_f]Raine[/name_f]” as a middle name for another kiddo).
We’ve currently got Avonlea [name_f]Makenna[/name_f] and Avonlea Edrea as possibilities, but still not sure.
