[name]Erica[/name],
Here’s my posting from your other poll. Let’s see if we can move over here, okay?
I see your pros and cons for both [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name], and I’m happy [name]Brent[/name] doesn’t mind either way! Good time to be agreeable, right? Anyway, if I must say, it seems the good outweighs the bad for [name]Eva[/name] and the bad outweighs the good for [name]Stella[/name], right? Be honest with yourself - which do you like more, regardless of other people or any other “issues” with the names? If it is [name]Eva[/name] ([name]Ava[/name]), go for it, and if not, choose [name]Stella[/name]!
I love [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name] because of the reasons you listed. It is feminine, elegant, classic, and romantic in a modern, unexpected way. [name]Madeline[/name] ([name]Madelyn[/name]) [name]Eva[/name] ([name]Ava[/name]) flows absolutely beautifully, especially with your last name. [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Gabriella[/name] [name]Grace[/name] both have that classic, popular aspect, yet they have romantic, playful, ethereal qualities that create a well-rounded sibling set. But, [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name] will face pronunciation issues because there are multiple accepted ways to say [name]Eva[/name]! Is that really a big deal? After all, how many people will say her middle name? Yes, it will be on her official paperwork, but those people won’t need to pronounce it, right? And, you’ll tell family and friends how to say it, so that shouldn’t be an issue. And, when Miss [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name] graduates or gets married, I’m sure somebody will clarify how to pronounce her name (I graduated with a [name]Kathryn[/name] [name]Eva[/name], and everyone made sure it was said like “[name]Ava[/name]” before we walked!). So, I think [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name] is a winner, a stunner really!
Then again, I don’t not like [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Stella[/name]. Personally, I just like [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name] more - the flow and everything about it is perfect in my mind! [name]Stella[/name] is a classic, vintage name with so much appeal, but it is the new [name]Violet[/name] in my mind, with celebrity babies like [name]Stella[/name] [name]Doreen[/name] [name]McDermott[/name] ([name]Tori[/name] Spelling and [name]Dean[/name] [name]McDermott[/name]) and [name]Stella[/name] [name]Luna[/name] [name]Pompeo[/name] Ivery ([name]Ellen[/name] [name]Pompeo[/name] and [name]Chris[/name] Ivery) coming to mind as trendsetters. [name]Stella[/name] has a great meaning, especially when mythological and star-like names seem to be cutting edge and fun, fresh, and feminine! In those respects, you’ve got a great name that might be rising up in the popularity ranks! Who’s to say [name]Eva[/name] isn’t either, though, with [name]Eva[/name] Mendes and [name]Eva[/name] Longoria becoming more prominent. The big issues I have with [name]Stella[/name] are 1) it has the same “ella” that [name]Gabriella[/name] has, which either locks you into an -ella pattern or makes you look a tad uncreative, and 2) I don’t like the flow quite as much as [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name]. However, if you love [name]Stella[/name], use it! It is a beautiful name!
In short, I definitely vote [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Eva[/name], and I think it is a name you’d be happy with since you admit you love it. I don’t feel quite as much love for [name]Madeline[/name] [name]Stella[/name], but I don’t think you could go wrong with either name, honestly. I think you need to pick the name you love most…
