After much deliberation, we’ve decided on first names for our twin boys: [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_u]Alex[/name_u]/[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. However with the longer first name, I’m feeling a little lost as to what the middle name should be.
Should it be short due to the added length of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]? Please help me with the [name_u]Alex[/name_u]/[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] choice and any middle names you can suggest for both boys!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I would personal go for either both short forms, or both long forms, so;
[name_u]Alex[/name_u] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]William[/name_m] (nn [name_u]Alex[/name_u] & [name_m]Liam[/name_m])
But that’s just me so that neither brother feels like he’s missing out on a longer form of his name.
Yes a short middle and would pair well with [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]…either 1 or 2 syllables.
Or a longer middle name with [name_u]Alex[/name_u]
[name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
I 100% agree with the above poster - give them both the same, either the full names with nicknames or just nicknames.
I’d call them [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]William[/name_m] ([name_u]Alex[/name_u] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m]). Both wonderful names that can suit many different personalities and life stages.
I think [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] work well as names for twins. I prefer the name [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] to [name_u]Alex[/name_u].
