Middle name for Alma

We love the name [name_f]Alma[/name_f] for our baby girl, and want to honor a female relative with a family name for the middle. My grandmother was [name_u]Page[/name_u] (male spelling) and we considered on her birthday, but I am starting to think that [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (husbands mother) has a better ring to it. Am I right?

Conceived, not considered

I agree, [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sounds better.

Both are nice, but I much prefer [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

Would you maybe consider going with two middle names? [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Page[/name_u] doesn’t sound so bad! I do like the sound of [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] more though.

Another vote for [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]!

[name_m]Just[/name_m] as a suggestion:

[name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sounds gorgeous! If you want to honor both of them you could consider that [name_u]Page[/name_u]'s origin is french, so maybe the french versions of [name_f]Jane[/name_f]: [name_f]Jeanette[/name_f]/[name_f]Jeannette[/name_f], [name_f]Jeanne[/name_f], [name_f]Johanne[/name_f], [name_f]Janine[/name_f]/[name_f]Jeanine[/name_f]…

Or, as a pp said, you can go for two middles! They are both one syllable and sound gorgeous together: [name_f]Alma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Page[/name_u]!
