Any ideas for a good middle name for Ames? He will be our third boy and our other two have family middle names but there aren’t any good options left… [name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_m]Paul[/name_m] or [name_m]Robert[/name_m]. I don’t like Ames [name_m]Paul[/name_m] and [name_m]Robert[/name_m] is one of my least favorite names. 
I’m thinking it needs to have at least two syllables. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I would try to find another family name. Maybe a variation of a name or surnames of your moms or grandmothers.
What about Ames [name_m]Paolo[/name_m] (from [name_m]Paul[/name_m]) or Ames [name_m]Bertram[/name_m] (from the ‘bert’ in [name_m]Robert[/name_m])?

What about [name_m]Rupert[/name_m]? I also dislike [name_m]Robert[/name_m] but really like [name_m]Rupert[/name_m] - it’s the Germanic variant. Or the Scottish variant, [name_m]Rab[/name_m]? And instead of [name_m]Paul[/name_m], you could perhaps use the Slavic variant, [name_m]Pavel[/name_m], or the similar-sounding [name_m]Saul[/name_m]?
