My husband and I are settled on naming our baby girl [name]Audrey[/name] but we’re stumped on what middle name to give her. We have a short last name of English origin ([name]Firth[/name]), so I’m thinking something a bit longer with a classic, dignified appeal might be nice.
I absolutely love [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I think you definitely have the right idea to pair [name]Audrey[/name] with a longer middle name. If I think of any more names you might consider for the middle name, I will be back.
[name]Hi[/name]! I think [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Firth[/name] flows beautifully! Another suggestion would be [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] [name]Firth[/name], which flows better than [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cecily[/name].
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Louise[/name] is lovely. I also like many of the other options listed above like [name]Catherine[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], and [name]Victoria[/name].
While I do like [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Catherine[/name], [name]IMO[/name] it seems a little odd as both [name]Audrey[/name] & [name]Katharine[/name] Hepburn had the same last name. So she might be a prone to being called ‘Hepburn’ or something in the future as a joke-or something of the like, etc…just something to think about.
I do like [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] a lot. I also like a pps suggestions of [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] & [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Caroline[/name].
I like [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]. [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] doesn’t hold much interest for me, nor does [name]Catherine[/name] or [name]Josephine[/name]. [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] might be my third favorite. I agree with pp that [name]Cecilia[/name] flows better than [name]Cecily[/name].
[name]Hi[/name]!
I really like the name [name]Audrey[/name], it`s really sweet, and I love the sound of the first letters.
I like your suggestion of [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Imogen[/name] [name]Firth[/name] (I LOOOVE [name]Imogen[/name]!!) and [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] [name]Firth[/name] (by the way, I also LOOOVE [name]Cordelia[/name]). I agree that [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] sounds better than [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cecily[/name].
Some suggestions:
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Seraphina[/name] - I really like the name [name]Seraphina[/name], and I find it much interesting than [name]Josephine[/name].
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Millicent[/name] - [name]Millicent[/name] is long, elegant and unsual, maybe you like it.
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]/[name]Beatriz[/name]/[name]Beatrix[/name] - See [name]Millicent[/name].
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Susannah[/name] - See [name]Beatrice[/name] and [name]Millicent[/name].
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Berenice[/name] - Pronunced /behr-eh-NEECH-ay/, maybe a bit complicated.
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Rosalia[/name] - It sounds really romantic.
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Eleonora[/name]/[name]Leonora[/name] - It adds like an Italian vibe, that sounds pretty cool.
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Catalina[/name] - As you said you like Chaterine, and someone says that it seems a little odd as both [name]Audrey[/name] & [name]Katharine[/name] Hepburn had the same last name, so maybe this Spanish variation is interesting. I think is cute.
Well, I hope you like my suggestions!
Good luck with your baby and Congratulations!
I love the name [name]Audrey[/name] and think any of the middles could work! I like [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Cecily[/name] actually although I guess I’m in the minority : D! I would say I think the three syllable names sound better than those of the other lengths to my ear for the most part. But longer and shorter have something to offer too. All best!
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! I took my favorite suggestions and made a little list for my husband’s ultra discerning eye, and he liked 3 of them! We may name this baby yet! Thanks!
