I need help to pick a great middle name for my 4th baby, a girl. I (its still growing on Dad) have chosen the name Emeris. I am not 100% on the spelling just yet as it may be Emerys. The pronunciation is like the first spelling [name]Em[/name]-er-is. My first thought was [name]Elizabeth[/name] after my mother. However our right next door neighbor and acquaintance named her daughter [name]Avery[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] so it seems too matchy to hers. My sisters middle is [name]Rose[/name] which is ok but I don’t love it. Mine is [name]Katherine[/name] after my grandmother so that could work. It doesn’t have to be a family name. Actually I would like something kinda hip and cool like the boys name I had prepared Macsen or Maxon [name]Zane[/name]. Also what are your thoughts on the name Emeris or Emerys. Thanks!

I don’t think your next door neighbor and acquaintance’s daughter’s middle name should stop you from using [name]Elizabeth[/name]! It IS a family name after all, and it’s only her middle! This might seem crazy but I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Carys[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] for you! [name]Carys[/name] is pronounced Kah-riss or Kar-iss (rhymes it with [name]Paris[/name]). [name]Dustin[/name] [name]Cody[/name], [name]Dylan[/name] [name]Christopher[/name], [name]Aleah[/name] [name]Shay[/name], and [name]Carys[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is adorable!

I had said that if I had a girl it would be [name]Carys[/name] but spelled [name]Karas[/name] (family surname spelling). I changed to [name]Aleah[/name] at the last minute!!
