Middle name for Bodhizafa

I told my husband after our last child was born that he could name the next one- well that time has come and I’m struggling with it! I was pushing to name him [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] [name_u]Remington[/name_u], but my husband has decided that he wants the first name to be Bodhizafa and we can still call him [name_u]Bo[/name_u] or [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] for short…but what middle name goes with Bodhizafa?!

[name_m]Just[/name_m] as a background our daughters name is [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] and our last name is very common ‘N’ name with two syllables. So we like unique names to go with the vanilla last name.

If I met siblings named [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and Bodhizafa, I would be inclined to believe that one or both parents were schizophrenic. Or related to [name_m]Frank[/name_m] Zappa. I would recommend telling your husband to join the real world and stick with [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] or [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]. Maybe Swayze if he’s feeling adventurous? Which he clearly is.

Bodhizafa looks, to me, like a misspelling of Bodhisattva (an enlightened one in Buddhism). I would be very, very hesitant to use this name, given its strong ties.

Anyway, as for a middle, I’d probably go for a one-syllable name:
Bodhizafa [name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
