I’m looking for a middle name to go with [name_m]Callum[/name_m] for a girl. Really not looking for opinions on the name. I know it’s a boy’s name, but clearly I don’t mind (my name is [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] and I go by [name_u]Stevie[/name_u]). There are ways to feminize it if she wants to later on ([name_f]Calla[/name_f], [name_f]Callie[/name_f].)
It’s my husband’s father’s name. He passed suddenly, and we want to honor him with the name, as our daughter would be his first grandchild. We would like something somewhat feminine, that goes well with [name_m]Callum[/name_m] (meaning Scottish or Irish).
We have toyed with:
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_f]Ailis[/name_f]
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_f]Iona[/name_f]
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_f]Elish[/name_f] (another family name).
I like the idea of the middle name starting with vowel, but it’s not mandatory for us.
I think [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is cute for a girl, I know a girl named [name_m]Callan[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_f]Elish[/name_f] best from your list, I’m not quite sure how to pronounce [name_f]Ailis[/name_f]?
