I need a middle name to go with [name]Carys[/name]. I like really feminine, girly names.
[name]Carys[/name] is a very interesting name that I don’t think I’ve ever heard of! [name]How[/name] would you pronounce it? Ka-reese I’m guessing?
If you haven’t already, look into some flower names. Those are always very girly.
Here are some different combos that come to mind for me:
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Marie[/name]/[name]Maria[/name](too rhymy?)
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Lilianna[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
I’d love to see something Welsh and three syllables paired with it, maybe, depending on your list. Welsh and 1 syl could be could, and of course it doesn’t have to be Welsh : D.
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Arianell[/name] (a variant of [name]Arianwen[/name] - I think it sounds better with [name]Carys[/name], although [name]Arianwen[/name] sounds OK too)
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Bryn[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name]
All best!
I like [name]Angela[/name] or [name]Juliette[/name].
My cousin actually used this as a middle name for her daughter [name]Adelyn[/name], which I love. Some of these aren’t very “girly”, but if we’re going for a first name:
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Eloise[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Emmeline[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Isabelle[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Johanna[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Julianne[/name]/[name]Julianna[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Lorelle[/name]/[name]Laurel[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Natalia[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Ramona[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Willow[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Dahlia[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Gabriella[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Juliana[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Carys[/name] [name]Penelope[/name]
I’m not sure if this is the actual Welsh pronunciation, but I have heard this name pronounced like “care-iss” and also seen it spelled [name]Keris[/name]. The first combination that came to mind was [name]Carys[/name] [name]Adelaide[/name], but I like the idea of using something Welsh, Irish, or Celtic sounding with it too (like [name]Carys[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] or [name]Carys[/name] Merion). St. [name]David[/name] is the patron saint of [name]Wales[/name] and using that you could go with [name]Carys[/name] [name]Davida[/name] or [name]Carys[/name] Davinia/[name]Davina[/name].
