Middle Name For Caspian

So far, a lot of people have told me that [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Julius[/name_m] doesn’t flow well together or that the flow feels off. I think it flows fine, but am I missing something? Some have also told me that [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] doesn’t flow well either, but I also think it flows well. Plz help me here! Thanks.

They sound good to me!

Thank you! I thought they both sounded good as well. Maybe they just don’t like the name [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Julius[/name_m], or [name_m]Malakai[/name_m]. We all have our likes & dislikes of names tho.

I think both combos flow very well, actually. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though they’re all 3-syllable names, the sounds are so distinct that they work well to me. Personally I don’t have trouble saying them out loud/them flowing together.

Thank you! I thought the same thing as well. It is definitely going to be a tough decision as far as the middle name goes. Haha I love [name_m]Julius[/name_m] & [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] equally the same.

Both flow fine to me, but I guess it depends on people’s accents - some sounds might become slightly matchy, or, similar sounds might be more emphasised, thus changing the flow.

I guess to elaborate, some might find the cadence is broken by the strong S sounds in Casapian Julius, or the repeated ‘ah’ and hard ‘C’ sounds in Caspian and MalaKai. As I say, this depends on where people put the emphasis and what sounds stand out as they say it.

Some might also find the 3-3 syllable count of the names doesn’t work for them.

If it flows okay to you, I’d say it’s fine - a lot comes down to personal preference, emphasis and regional/local pronunciations :person_shrugging:

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that makes any sense

[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Damon[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Tobias[/name_m]
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Lukas[/name_m]

honestly, I had a lot more in my head but I lost them all. I think [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Julius[/name_m] sounds fine. Though if you’re really set on [name_m]Julius[/name_m] then I’d go with [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_u]Julian[/name_u] or [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_u]Julien[/name_u]. [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Malakai[/name_m] sounds fine too. But I’d go with [name_m]Malachi[/name_m], not [name_m]Malakai[/name_m]. You could also go with [name_m]Mordecai[/name_m], [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_u]John[/name_u], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u], [name_m]Mark[/name_m], [name_m]Jedidiah[/name_m], [name_m]Zebediah[/name_m], or something else that’s similar to [name_m]Malachi[/name_m] or [name_m]Julius[/name_m].
