I like both names but I like [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] Kates as a full name more than [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] Kates
When it comes to just first name last name I am 100% for [name_m]Clark[/name_m] Kates. It sounds really good to me.
I don’t like fillers for middle names (my wife has an obsession with filler middle names)
What middle names do you suggest that will flow well with our last name for either first name?
[name_m]Clark[/name_m] Kates sounds like 1 word to me. So, i wouldn’t choose it for the fn, but i dont mind it as a mn. Thats the reason i would go with [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m].
Maybe a longer fn, like [name_u]Carter[/name_u], etc if you want to use the K sound for the fn.
I really like both [name_m]Clark[/name_m] and [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] but I think [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] Kates flows slightly better than [name_m]Clark[/name_m] Kates as the two k’s run into each other a bit although may not be a deal breaker, only something to consider. Middle name suggestions…
You know I never thought of putting my name is the middle name but I wonder if i’ll get some backlash from my first son if he’s like “Hey, why didn’t I get your name and he did? You always liked him more.” hahahah
I thought of [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Kent[/name_m]. As in super man when I read [name_m]Clark[/name_m] Kates.
And as you can see from my signature I’m a bit bias towards [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. I vote [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m].
I feel the name flows better with a break in between the k sounds. [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] something Kates sounds nice. [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Brian[/name_m] Kates would work nicely.
My son has his fathers name as one of his middles, However if we are to have another son he would not get a family name let alone on of dads. When we decided on our first sons name I was worried any children following would feel left out but a name you love can be just as special as a name you have yourself. If your older son ever asks, explain that at the time of naming him you gave him his own identity, which is just as special as carrying someone else’s name. You chose what you did for a reason, tell them how special their names are just because you love them.
